Content Management Systems (CMS)

Content Management Systems (CMS) are websites with a web based back office or management system. Through these management systems clients are able to add and update their own content, change and edit existing content, add new pages and manage content. This is easy to do, and is presented in a user-friendly format which enables clients to make changes without changing the aesthetics of the site.


CMS are the most common type of website that we build at Gough Bailey Wright, but when we advise a client to go forward with a CMS we will want to make sure that the content is regularly refreshed, added to, and most importantly – optimised. This is really important because Google rewards sites that are regularly updated and optimised.


You may want to manage the content in-house, or you may want to outsource it to us.


Some clients choose to buy the content management system, but outsource the updating to us.
