Ambivo

Defiantly dependable demand for a Yorkshire-based conservatory room-recovery business.

Conservatory room with panelled ceiling and large ceiling fan, surrounded by windows, inside is a dining table with chairs.

The job

A conservatory that’s stopped being a room. Too cold in winter, too hot in summer, so it becomes storage for boxes nobody opens, and things people forget about. It’s not an insulation problem when somebody’s given up on a space. So it’s a room recovery problem.

GAS is fixing that by building demand around ease of choice and integrity, instead of wearing customers down: fixed pricing to illustrate the starting price, a founder who still goes and meets his customers, and a brand mascot who lives in the room in question, to say what a founder can’t say about it himself.

Demand created at a pace Ambivo can deliver, on a simple fee basis that allows them to scale up sustainably and profitably.

The toolbox

GAS built Ambivo from the name up: the proposition, the business name itself, the branding and logotypes, Bivo the Bear’s own look. Then the website, the social channels, the content to fill them, a proper shoot to put him in the room. Merchandise on top, and Meta campaigns run seasonally rather than once, because a conservatory’s problem in January isn’t the one it has in July.

Surrounding the funnel are icons and labels: Branding and Design near GET NOTICED; Social and Content near GET FOUND; Film, Reporting, and Reviews & Recommendations near GET SLICK; and Print and Websites to the upper right side.

Get noticed

A founder telling you your conservatory’s a wasted room sounds like a pitch. A bear telling you the same thing doesn’t. That’s the commercial logic behind Bivo: he can say the plain, slightly uncomfortable truth about a room nobody uses anymore ina way that would sound cynical coming from whoever’s trying to sell the fix. He’s rolling out now as the face of that honesty, across the branding, the social, the content and the seasonal Meta campaigns, the same message whether it’s a January “too cold to sit in” ad or a July “too hot to sit in” one.

Branding & logotypes

The whole category names itself after what it sells, someone’s conservatory, someone’s insulation. Ambivo’s name does something different: it comes from “ambient,” because that’s what the product actually controls, built to appeal to the person in the house who makes the decision, and built to sound warm rather than technical.

Website

Built around specifics, not adjectives: ConservaHeat®, not just “insulation,” pricing stated upfront from £2,499 to filter out anyone who was never going to buy, and a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee behind all of it.

Get found

GAS built the site around specifics, not adjectives: the product gets its own name, ConservaHeat®, not just “insulation,” and its own concrete claim, it doesn’t look like insulation, it looks like a finished ceiling. The price is stated upfront too, from £2,499, and that’s deliberate: it tells someone who can’t or won’t pay that to go and find another solution before they’ve picked up the phone.
Nobody’s time gets wasted chasing a lead that was never going to convert. A 10-year insurance-backed guarantee and FAQs that answer the real, slightly awkward questions, condensation, how it holds up through a hot summer, do the rest of the trust-building before anyone’s spoken to Chris at all. Yorkshire’s the heartland, installs already reaching as far as Jersey, nationwide is where it’s heading, not where it’s pretending to already be.

Seasonal meta campaigns

Same message, different season: “too cold” in January, “too hot” in July. Get your room back whatever the season.

Content

Bivo tells the problem first, a bear locked in a conservatory too cold in winter, too hot in summer, because a character can say that without sounding like a sales pitch. Then Chris takes over with the actual fix, ConservaHeat, and asks for the booking. Price appears early too, so a Meta ad qualifies a lead from a price point of view.

Production & shoots

Bivo’s animated, built with AI rather than a costume. Chris is real, shot on his own doorstep, so the bear tells the story and the man closes it.

Get slick

Every lead reaches Chris directly right now, no team, no queue, because meeting his own customers is one of the few luxuries a business this size still affords him. That won’t last forever. As a business grows, so does the demand on a founder’s time, and meeting every customer himself is usually the first thing to go.

GAS has the capacity ready before Chris needs it, so when the leads outgrow what one man can answer personally, nothing has to be rushed into place, and nothing about how Ambivo works has to change until Chris is ready for it to.
