Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht) asked us to come up with a way of explaining how Shared Ownership worked to potential buyers. The explanation needed to be simple, engaging and to break down the complexity of the Shared Ownership model in an easy-to-follow way. They wanted a ‘human’ approach, rather than a dry, technical explainer video.

Human approach

Recognising the need for a more relatable method, we proposed creating a friendly, light-hearted animated explainer video. Instead of relying on traditional guides or booklets, we developed engaging characters and visuals to tell a story. We collaborated closely with bdht to script and animate the video, ensuring the explanation was not only clear but also enjoyable. The animation was crafted to transform the often misunderstood concept of Shared Ownership into a relatable and understandable narrative.

Results

The animated explainer video exceeded expectations, delivering a clear and approachable explanation of Shared Ownership. It quickly became one of the most viewed videos on the BDHT website, demonstrating its effectiveness in engaging potential buyers. The client was thrilled with the outcome, appreciating the human touch that made the complex topic accessible and easy to grasp for everyone.
